Grant Geske
Business Development Analyst - Intellectual Property Center
Grant assists in establishing and managing knowledge based partnerships for the University. He also manages a portfolio of University owned intellectual property. Grant received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin in Chemistry, has extensive industrial experience, and was trained in University technology transfer through an internship at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.
Amit Kumar, Ph.D.
Licensing Associate, Intellectual Property Center
Amit manages the marketing and licensing of the intellectual property owned by the University. He has been trained in technology evaluation and commercialization through a NSF funded fellowship and has extensive experience in this area. Apart from technology licensing, he also facilitates entrepreneurship activity in campus.
Cyndi McLaughlin

Cyndi is responsible for establishing and managing the Office's relations and communication network to ensure successful internal and external partnerships and collaborations with an emphasis on programs to encourage and enable innovation and entrepreneurship.

Bruce oversees responsibilities for handling intellectual property matters related to inventions, patents, copyright, and trademark opportunities including the legal issues associated with such assets.
Barbara Necarsulmer
Associate Director, Delaware Small Business Development Center
Barbara’s entrepreneurial background includes owning and operating mail order and catering businesses. She assists setting up and financing small businesses.
Amalea Rassias
Administrative Assistant
Amalea is responsible for financial and budgetary matters and assists with external relations. She is often the first point of contact for callers and visitors to OEIP.
Clinton Tymes
Director – Delaware Small Business Development Center
Clinton Tymes is the State Director of the Delaware Small Business Development Center Network, headquartered at the University of Delaware. He is responsible for long-range planning and program development for the statewide network.
David Weir
Director
Dr. David S. Weir holds a doctorate in chemical physics and lectured at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland before a 35-year career with DuPont. He is a former vice president for global research and development at DuPont and the founding director of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.
